M.S. Subbulakshmi, the epitome of bhakti kissed the lotus feet this morning. It is indeed a huge loss for the Carnatic music fraternity in Chennai. I am neither a student nor an ardent love for Carnatic music but you gain a great respect and admiration for M.S if you listen to her Vishnu Sahasarnamam. In times of distress and confusion, nothing calms you down better than the M.S's rendition of the thousand names of Lord Vishnu. It is soulful and it evokes passion for the Lord. May her soul rest in peace.....
